Scuderie del Quirinale
We are most likely the only agency working in the residence of the President of the Italian Republic. Since 2018, we have been responsible for communications for the Scuderie del Quirinale, the famed exhibition/museum space managed by the head of the Italian State. The complex hosts exhibitions that draw in visitors from all over the world, and is one of the most important in Italy.

The Rebranding
The first thing we did was to find a different expressive approach for the art. Both visually and narratively, we wanted the exhibitions at the Scuderie to immediately stand out from the vast range of cultural experiences found in Rome.
Neon colours verging on pop tones were chosen to give expression to masters like Leonardo, poets such as Ovidio, and collections of very classical art that is however always given a new twist for the current age and public.
Ovidio
For the exhibition Ovid. Loves, Myths and Other Stories, we were responsible for external communications and setting up the exhibition spaces: 10 rooms with over 200 works. We produced a video with Sebastiano Lo Monaco and organised a take-over in the San Giovanni underground station in Rome.
In print, on posters, and even on social media and BTL materials, we presented the interdependent relation between words and images that was the defining trait of not only the exhibition, but also the author’s poetry.
Leonardo Da Vinci
Coinciding with the 500th anniversary of the death of the Tuscan genius, a number of exhibitions throughout Italy celebrated the legendary figure of Leonardo da Vinci. The show held at the Scuderie del Quirinale in Rome focused on da Vinci the inventor.
We created both a title—Leonardo da Vinci. Science before Science—and a visual style which was quite different from that generally used to represent his work.
Raphael
Raphael 1520-1483 was not exactly your typical retrospective exhibition, even in its name: the dates of his birth and death were inverted, thus creating a path that started from the end of the artist’s life and went backwards to the beginning. Complying with Covid-19 guidelines, the Scuderie del Quirinale had to find a way
to carry out the exhibition: this is how #Raffaellofuoriorario (‘Raphael after hours’) was born, an absolutely unique occasion to visit the show outside normal visiting hours, 24/7—a brand new feature for the museum.
Inferno
To celebrate the 700th anniversary of Dante Alighieri’s passing, the Scuderie del Quirinale organised a special exhibition with his Inferno as its theme. Our billboards brought a bit of ‘hell’ to Rome: on the streets and at bus stops, passers-by came face to face with demonic figures, accompanied by quotes from the writer’s masterpiece.
Furthermore, thanks to in-tunnel advertising, passengers on the underground between the Repubblica and Barberini stops felt as if they were passing through the flames of hell—just like Dante himself.
Superbarocco
A new exhibition transports us to another city and another era. Where? Genoa ‘the Superb’, and the art is Baroque. To tell the story of how this artistic style flourished in the Ligurian city, we’ve chosen to use a beautiful portrait: that of Countess Elena Grimaldi Cattaneo, a woman who perfectly embodies the spirit
of the Baroque with her flawless posture and exquisite clothes. For the exhibition, we handled all external communications and marketing, created some materials that were part of the show, and managed the relative social media profiles.
