The idea for this video was inspired by a news story: a man wrote himself a letter and opened it 10 years later.

We asked actress Matilde Gioli to do the same, recording a few video messages to her future self, in 10 years.

In the various clips, the actress asks the Matilde of tomorrow if she remembers her plans and dreams and if she made them come true. She asks if the future is like she imagines it today.

And, of course, she wonders: what will automobiles be like in the future?

In the process, Gioli describes the main characteristics of the new Hyundai IONIQ 5: an automobile with features that are so innovative that, though they aren’t commonplace today, perhaps they will be in 10 years. The tone of the video is cheery and positive, in-line with the actress’s image.
